Pendle Hill Charity Walk

Please join us for a 3 mile sponsored walk in this beautiful part of the Northwest of England. A great opportunity  for energetic  walkers and fitness enthusiasts, or those who sincerely want to make a difference to the World, while engaging in a family fun activity.

Where:   Start and Finish Barley Picnic Site

Muslim Community Events have partnered  with Muslim Hands a registered UK Charity, Charity Reg No. 1105056 and launched the nationwide campaign #ChangingSomeonesWorld.  MCEs aim and your aim will be, coming together as a community and to raise awareness of the plight of people across the world suffering from hunger.  The money you raise via sponsors, will help feed some of the 795 million people that go to bed hungry in this world.

PLEASE NOTE:

Registration:   Will take place at Barley Picnic Site from 9:30am -10:25am

Registration Fees:          Â£20 per Person

                                        £30 per Family

Minimum sponsorship:  per sponsorship form £50

Children are welcome from the age of  8 Years and accompanied by a consenting adult. The degree of hill climb is strenuous and demanding. A reasonable level of fitness is required. 

It is advisable to bring light waterproofs with you and wear a warm sweater as the temperature can drop a degree or two near the summit.

The Walk will start 10.30am and will last approx 2 1/2 hrs.  There will be a family picnic after the walk. 

There are picnic and toilet facilities on the picnic site.
