Navigating Family Life
In aid of SABA Relief's Orphan Campaign join us on the 24th of April for this beneficial seminar led by parenting practitioner Sister Kathleen Roche-Nagi.

Sister Kathleen will be taking us on a journey of parenting: from pregnancy to 3 years, to 4-11 years, and finally through to the teenage years. Along the way, she will be providing us with beneficial advice and techniques drawn from Islamic and psychological principles on how to raise happy and successful children at each stage.

Sr Kathleen has been working with BME children and families for the past eighteen years enabling them to overcome parenting issues to create positive change within their families. She is a qualified Nurse (SRN) and Midwife (SCM); she has a diploma in Counselling from Lincoln University as well as a diploma in Life-Coaching from ANM and, in 2011, she obtained her diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector from Warwick University. She is now managing director of the organisation Approachable Parenting.

The seminar is being held at The Bordesley Centre on the 24th April 2016 from 12pm-5pm (doors will open at 11am).

Brothers and Sisters are welcome and we'll have a crèche, refreshments, and an array of stalls available so bring all your family and friends insha'Allah!
