A Moroccan Jewish celebration of music, food and fortune, influenced by a tapestry of North African folk tradition, a Kurdish Jewish Spring festival, and traceable all the way back to the ancient Barley harvest festival of Akitu. In many towns and villages in North Africa, Jewish people would invite their Muslim neighbours to sing, feast and bless together. Wherever you're from, we welcome you in the same spirit of joy & togetherness. Join Jewish & Muslim Moroccan & Sephardi musicians along with storytellers, poets, rappers and cooks from across the world for a celebration unlike any other.
In London, Muslims and Jews from all over the world live side by side. Some of us are finding a new way to share in a celebration that our own families have enjoyed for generations, whilst others are inspired by Mimouna, and joining in for the very first time. We invite you to join us, too! Come sing, talk, listen to stories, make music, eat and celebrate with us, no matter where you're from!
