The Early Hours - Reflections from Surat ad-Duha in light of Palestine
Saturday 12 December 2015 ,[LONDON, United Kingdom]
Venue or Event Address : Amanah Centre 251 Commercial Road, London E1 2BT
Palestine. Whether it's on the news or [mostly] off the news, the brutality of occupation, oppression and apartheid continues. The ongoing hardships faced by the Ummah and that of the blessed land of Palestine, the land of the Prophets and revelation, can leave us with feelings of frustration, despair and hopelessness.
But during one of the most testing moments of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (upon whom be peace), Allaah sent to him the shining rays of morning light when the darkness of the world enclosed around him – Surat ad-Duha.
Join us for an inspiring evening where we will explore the reasons behind its revelation and derive key lessons and implications this short but powerful chapter of the Qur'an has in our lives, both on a personal and wider level.
The event will feature:
- Respected speakers such as Ustadh Alomgir Ali & Ustadh Abu Ibrahim
