Istanbul Marathon 2015

This November run from Asia to Europe in the heart of Turkey's most remarkable city in SKT Welfare's Istanbul Marathon Challenge. Experience the unique journey between two continents! The Istanbul Eurasia Marathon is the only transcontinental marathon starting in Asia and crossing to the European side of the city. Runners start next to the Bosphorus Bridge and finish in front of the Sultanahmet Mosque. With a unique location, between the Balkans and Anatolia, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean, Istanbul embraces both western and eastern cultures. Runners will also pass the Hagia Sophia, the Inonu Stadium and the Golden Horn. Around 4,000 runners take part in the Istanbul Marathon and there are close to a hundred countries represented.
