A one-day course on the life of Ibrahim (as), his intellectual and moral courage, and the importance of his legacy for Believers.

"Say: 'Allah has spoken the truth. Follow, then, the religion of Ibrahim, who turned away from all that is false and inclined towards truth, and was not of the polytheists.'" (Qur'an 3:95)

"Indeed, there is for you a good example in Ibrahim and those with him..." (Qur'an 60:4)



Shaykh Akram Nadwi is a leading Islamic Scholar based in the United Kingdom. He holds a Masters from Nadwatul Ulema India and a Doctorate in Arabic from Lucknow University. He has published widely in Arabic, Urdu and English including translations, critical editions of Arabic texts, and original monographs on Arabic, Fiqh, Tafsir, Hadith, and Biographies of scholars and hadith narrators. He has completed a monumental multi-volume work of the lives of al-Muhaddithat (female scholars of hadith) and is currently authoring a commentary on Sahih Muslim. He serves as Principal and Senior Lecturer at the Al-Salam Institute and is an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the Markfield Institute of Higher Education.
