Assalamu alaikum

A single favour done to another Muslim will be recognized and be rewarded accordingly, regardless of how huge or tiny it may be perceived. To emphasize this meaning, Allah says in the Qur’an, Surah Al-Zhariyaat, 99:7:

 â€œ[… So] whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it (will be rewarded for it accordingly).”

When you initiate change in your community it is greatly rewarding, InshaAllah the effects and benefits of such initiatives remain useful generations after generations. The Prophet sallalahu alaihisalam said in a Hadeeth narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, and reported by Imam Muslim:

مَنْ دَعَا إِلَى هُدًى، كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الأَجْرِ مَثْلُ أُجُورِ مَنْ تَبِعَهُ؛ لا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئاً. وَمَنْ دَعَا إِلَى ضَلالَةٍ، كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الإِثْمِ مِثْلُ آثَامِ مَنْ تَبِعَهُ؛ لا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ آثَامِهِمْ شَيْئاً

 â€œWhoever calls to guidance (righteousness), will be rewarded, similarly to the rewards of those who follow him, without any of their rewards been reduced. And whoever calls to deviation, will carry sins, similar to the sins of all those who act upon it (the deviation), without their sins been reduced.”

I worry about the world my children, your children are being initiated into. There are many, many Muslim children being put into foster care due to a lack of parenting skills, apathy, depression, misunderstanding to parenting, lack of support for parents who are facing great difficulties with the reality of society and it's challenges. When children are suffering because of the breakdown of the family, our community is affected and in just a few short years as a Mother, wife, daughter I will be witnessing another generation of Muslim children lost in the Duniya. Every charity, every good cause is worthy of our attention, time and our support. 

This is a good cause, the only Muslim parenting programme that is supporting Muslim families of all backgrounds to take the principle teachings in Quran and Sunnah, practical, real tools to address common issues that will enable us to be better parents and fulfill our Amanah...our children. Allah says to protect your gifts He gives us, we have to invest in what we want protected. My children, my family are gifts from Allah. Your family are your gifts. My health is a gift from Allah, so I said "Bismillah" and InshaAllah I intend to use my health to participate in the 10k Birmingham Run at the end of this month. Sisters come to this event, or Brothers and Sisters offer your donations to the following link. Give, give for the sake of Allah and see what Sister Kathleen is trying to do. One person doesn't make a family, one person doesn't make a community; a Muslim community tomorrow is one where our children will grow up in. We have to do something today. Whatever we do in the home, with our families, in the community it all counts. I welcome you with my open heart, because everyday I read or hear about horrific cases faced by children.  My heart weeps because of their pain and suffering.
