Freesia - Bradford Premiere

Freesia screening update: Arakan is now fully booked for the screening of Freesia! They will however be putting people on a reserve list in case anyone cancels their booking, so feel free to get in touch if you wish to attend and they will offer any cancelled seats on a first come, first serve basis.

Bradford UNESCO City of Film and Arakan Creative would like to invite you to the 

Bradford Premiere of

‘Freesia’

A multi-narrative journey that weaves between three families living in present-day Bradford. Dealing with women's rights, mosques and the far-right, three young protagonists find themselves propelled into the world of prejudice when their paths collide.

The film has screened at a number of film festivals around the world and has so far attained 5 official selections

3) Equality International Film Festival (Sacramento, California)

4) Focus International Film Festival (USA)

5) International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema, London - in which Freesia was nominated in 3 categories:

- Best Original Screenplay for Feature Film

- Best Original Score

- Best Director

And has also won an 'Award of Merit' from the Accolade Global Film Competition (San Diego, USA)
