All he wants is someone to lighten his heavy heart and accept him for who he is, but after five years of trying, young Muslim Shahid (Danny Ashok) is still single. The problem? He’s divorced.
Since turning thirty his problems have only got worse; he's still living at home, his business is grinding to a halt and his mother (Nina Wadia) is infatuated with a man thirteen years her junior.
Luckily he has a knack for turning his tragic life into comedy gold, and enters the Muslim's with Talent competition to become a stand-up comedian.
He turns to the internet in his search for 'the one' and crosses paths with the beautiful and smart Dr. Fatimah (Asmara Gabrielle). But with family issues of her own and a fiery temper to boot, can they really put their hearts on the line and take a chance on true love?
