The evening consists of:
- Introduction to FGM (Female Genital Mutilation)
- Warriors Film Screening
- Presentation on the Food Project by our Honoured Guest Speaker Helen Carey from the FGM Safehouse!
- Fundraiser
There will be some stalls for browsing and buying before and after the Film Screening
Free Popcorn and Snacks for all our guests!

** We are raising crucial funds for the FGM Safehouse in Mugumu that homes hundreds of girls who have been rescued from Female Genital Mutilation. Unfortunately the Safehouse has already outgrown its needs and the Kitchen is literally a shack in the garden. It is unhygienic and not a place we would want to eat from. We are raising money for the kitchen and also the Food Project by Helen Carey from the FGM Safehouse whom started this amazing project where the girls can grow their own food!
We will be honoured to have Helen Carey speaking at the event before she returns to the FGM Safehouse in Mugumu, Tanzania. Therefore if you are unable to attend the event but would still like to make a donation to the cause, you can do so by making a donation here:
