Chand Raat means night of the moon; that makes it a unique evening event of its kind. The ‘Chand Raat Eid Festival’ is a
traditional festivity marks the end of fasting month of Islamic Calendar (Ramadan) and the Islamic annual festivity (Eid ul Fitr). The aim of Sath Sath (the community Group) is to celebrate Eid Festivity by promoting culture, friendship and harmony. The event engages multicultural communities across UK. The Festival presents exuberant cultural display of multicultural British diverse communities together.
The festival is an opportunity for families to get together, do Eid shopping and eat delicious foods from a variety of stalls. The community groups, individuals, and business community place variety of stalls containing promotions of business, services, handicrafts, art, painting, clothes, jewellery, henna, bangles, shoes, toys and large variety of ethnic food.
The festival also provides children amusements and rides . We encourages and provides an opportunity for individuals, families and small business owners to introduce, exhibit and sell their products & services to thousands of attendees.
