Redefining Parenting - Sisters Only Event
In aid of Islamic Help’s ‘Birth: Supporting Syrian Mothers and Babies’ campaign join us for this beneficial and interactive afternoon led by licensed parent practitioner Sister Kathleen Roche-Nagi.

A mother-of-four, sister Kathleen has been working with BME children and families for the past 18 years, enabling them to overcome parenting issues to increase their self-esteem and confidence while shaping their abilities to achieve.

Sr Kathleen has a varied background - she is a qualified Nurse (SRN) and Midwife (SCM) and, in 2002, she gained a diploma in Counselling at Lincoln University. In 2007 she obtained a diploma in Life-Coaching from ANM and i...
n 2011 obtained her diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, from Warwick University. She has also gained QTLS.

Kathleen is now managing director of the organisation Approachable Parenting and also one of the developers of “The Five Pillars of Parenting” 4-11 years and pregnancy to 3 years programmes.

She will be delivering the workshop on the 9th of January so join us, along with other mothers, newly-weds and single women alike, to gain skills and techniques drawn from psychological and Islamic principles on how to raise children in the modern family.

We will also be raising funds for Islamic Help's Birth programme to support for expecting Syrian refugee mothers and babies.

Redefining Parenting is at the Bordesley Centre in Birmingham, B11 1AR, from 11am to 5pm. It's free entry and a crèche and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
